The political sciences and rhetorics student Elisa Storz (24) first came in contact with the NMUN during her year abroad at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador. There she helped her Ecuadorian fellow-students prepare Germany's position for UN-simulation. Aiming herself to later work in an international organisation, Elisa is happy to represent Saudi Arabia in the Economic and Social Council Plenary in New York.

Eva Röder (25) is still somewhat skeptical about the influence of the United Nations on national politics. Nevertheless she is vividly interested in the mode of operation and communication in this unique world-forum. The political science and rhetorics student will represent Saudi Arabia within the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia. Her rhetorical skills, which she usually employs in theater or journalism, will definitely offer her a competitive edge in New York.

Gianna Mader (22) is gladly anticipating the NMUN experience. The student of American studies, political science and public law spent a year abroad in New Zealand, where she gained first insights into a different political system and a different culture. Her internship at the State government of Lower Saxony further aroused her curiosity for decision making in politics. In the General Assembly Plenary, Gianna will get the chance to make decisions herself on behalf of the Saudi Arabian delegation.
