Alexandra Schaal
Alexandra Schaal
Komitee:League of Arab States
Orga-Team:, Fundraising, Brochure

Alexandra Schaal (23) would like to expand her knowledge of the United Nation’s mode of operation and of the organisation’s structures. The fact that students of all kinds of subjects and interests are working together was another reason for her to join NMUN. In her free time, Alexandra loves training as a dressage and show jump rider. Her ability to work in a well-organized and disciplined manner as well as her outstanding rhetorical skills make Alexandra the perfect candidate for cooperating within the League of Arab States.

Andreas Gerster
Andreas Gerster
Komitee: GA 2nd
Orga-Team: PR

A student of international economics and European studies, Andreas Gerster (22) is looking forward to the challenge of representing a foreign position authentically. He is the co-founder of a student-led consultancy and therefore often has to design future strategies for companies. NMUN will take him a step further in that it will give him the chance to develop strategies on an even larger scale. Representing Saudi-Arabia’s position in the General Assembly’s Second Committee, which deals with economic issues, will enable him to do this.

Caroline Bissinger
Caroline Bissinger
Komitee: CSustD
Orga-Team: TMUN

Caroline Bissinger (30) studies political science and history. NMUN therefore is the “on-road test” and fits very well into the final phase of her studies. Several internships helped Caroline to acquire good planning and organizational skills. Working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a goal she would like to reach after graduating. In April, she will speak on behalf of Saudi Arabia in the Commission on Sustainable Development.

Deborah Vollkommer
Deborah Vollkommer
Komitee: GA 1st AU
Orga-Team:Fundraising, Brochure

Deborah Vollkommer (23) has some experience with diplomacy due to her internship at the German Embassy in Washington, D.C. She is a student of English literature, political science, Latin and public law. She has traveled extensively and spent time abroad – an internship in Paraguay and a semester at an Israeli university being the experiences that impacted her the most. She will be representing Saudi Arabia’s position in the General Assembly’s First Committee (Disarmament and International Security).
