Australian exchange student Fiona Goggins (22) can imagine no more appropriate way to address international problems, in their full complexity, than through such a simulation. The student of International Studies brings, in addition to a passion for international affairs, seven-years of speech and performance training, which will hopefully assist her in her role representing the Sudan in the General Assembly Plenary Committee.

Igor Pilic (27) has studied diplomacy and foreign policy in Belgrade in the past and through his studies has achieved a deep insight into diplomatic relations. A Masters student in Peace Research and International Politics, Igor is particularly interested in security related issues, and will put his many capabilities to use when he represents the Sudan in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in New York.

Viola Lucas (23) is no stranger to simulations of the United Nations, having already participated in the Baden-Wu�Nrttemberg Model United Nations. Her commitments on the board of the student council (AStA) and her interest in development policy demonstrate her ample qualification as Sudanese representative to the Economic and Social Council. A student of International Economics and Political Science, Viola also gained invaluable experiences from her year abroad in the United States and her participation in social projects in Peru.
