Tübingen Model United Nations 2007

Fellow NMUN delegates,

the 2007 Tübingen Delegation has the honor of inviting you to the Tübingen Model United Nations (TMUN) 2007. Please find here the official invitation in pdf format.

TMUN will take place from 03-04 March, 2007, at the University of Tübingen. We will simulate two committees. Countries may be represented by one or two delegates.

How to get to TMUN:
TMUN will take place in the Brechtbau building, i.e. the Neuphilologische Fakultät of the University of Tübingen. It is located at Wilhelmstr. 50, 72072 Tübingen. In case you get lost, contact the Tübingen Delegation head delegates Kristen Heim and Christian Stindt. For a map, click here (Google Maps).

How to get there from the Youth Hostel:
We also have prepared a map for those delegates staying at the Tübingen Youth Hostel. Please click here to see how to get to TMUN from the Youth Hostel (roughly a 10-15 minute walk). If you prefer, you can also take the bus. Board lines 1, 2, 6 or 7 at "Neckarbrücke" (on the Neckarmüller side, you'll know what we mean when you're there), and get off at "Lothar-Meyer-Bau". The big building on the right you pass just before you get off is the place any UN-afficiando will want to be this weekend.

How to get to the party:
To find out how to get to Saturday night's party from the Youth Hostel, please click here. It's about a 20 minute walk, or, if you prefer, a 10 minute bus trip aboard line 4, bound for "Wennfelder Garten". Get on at "Neckarbrücke", get off at "Aixer Str."

REGISTRATION:

To register, please send an e-mail by February 28, 2007 to tmun (at) nmun-tuebingen.de, indicating your name, home school, preferred committee and five country preferences.

FEES:

Fees are 23,- € per delegate and 18,- € per head delegate and faculty advisor, and include:

Important additional information:

We cannot provide accomodation for all delegates in attendance and would therefore encourage you to have a look at www.jugendherberge-tuebingen.de (and similar establishments). We will be more than happy to help if there are problems finding accomodation during the conference.
Head delegates and faculty advisors in attendance pay a reduced participant's fee of 18 Euro, even if they are participating as delegates.
Payment of participant's fees should be transferred by no later than February 20 to a bank account announced upon registration. A single bank transfer covering a whole delegation's fees would be highly appreciated.
